Dennis G. Blondin was born and grew up in Flint, Michigan, a General Motors factory town. He went to the University of Michigan, receiving a B.S. before being drafted into the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War in 1967. After his military service, Dennis attended Western Michigan Uni-versity and the University of Missouri, receiving Master’s degrees from both Universities. He went to work as a Nuclear Propulsion Engineer and a U.S. Navy subcontractor for 43 years. He has been married to Elaine (Arico) Blondin for 52 years. They have three children and seven grand-children
